Business insurance

General liability, property, workers' comp and what small businesses tend to need.

A small business policy is usually a bundle of separate coverages, each with its own limit, deductible and exclusions. General liability, property and workers' compensation answer different questions, and one does not stand in for another.

The pages in this topic read those coverages from the wording. What a business needs depends on its work, its contracts and its state, so these are general explanations to bring to a conversation with a licensed agent.
